Have you ever

Published March 14, 2015 by lynn k scott

Have you ever been so moved by an idea, drawing or photo that you couldn’t wait to write about it?  I never considered this aspect until I started sharing my thoughts on forums other than Facebook.  With this blog, I’m able to share what’s important to me, what I hope others will become passionate about and perhaps change the way a person views a certain topic.

I’m not necessarily looking to change points of views; merely offer other perspectives.

Last night, I came across a very moving photograph.  My dogs hate to see me sleep and I was (rudely) awoken at 3:00 a.m. this morning by my shepherd mix.  I can’t make him understand I know a sneaky cat is in our backyard and it’s ok and he should just shut up!  I digress….

Since I removed myself from the comfort of my bed, I figured…time to blog!  After the first cup of coffee started coursing through my system in hopes of reaching and awaken my brain, I began to look at the photo and write up my article. Having finished it, I shot the draft over to the photo’s owner for her final approval.  After all, she gave me permission to use it and I want my words to do it justice.

I’ve never written something like that before.  To me, the photo was that meaningful; that powerful.  Once I receive the “A-OK”, I will publish it. Hopefully, that will be sometime today.

*Anxiously waiting*

  • I have to agree with you. The words flow so much better when you become passionate about it. The post that was so inspirational to me, if you haven’t figured it out yet, was “All Wrapped Up’. It just hit me like a ton of bricks.

  • That happened to me! Recently actually. My latest post is about something that clicked in my head and said you must write about tomorrow. 😀 It’s usually where the best writing comes from. Your brain just works. That’s awesome & I can’t wait to read it.
