“A Soldier Is Worth It To Me”

Published May 8, 2015 by lynn k scott

Several years ago, I had the privilege of “meeting” singer, Jimmy Parker.  I first “met” Jimmy in a military radio station chat room. It was there that I first heard the song, “A Soldier Is Worth It To Me“.

It conveys the simple message of how easy it is to be appreciative to our military and their families for the sacrifices they make in order to keep us free.

It’s a simple song but the message has always stayed with me, because it’s an important one.  I have thanked many military personnel, with gift boxes, coffee, letters, standing in a flag line with the Patriot Guard Riders, a handshake and/or a hug.

Take a moment to extend thanks to our service personnel the next time you see them.  They really do appreciate it.
