Sidekick

Published September 5, 2015 by lynn k scott

On our way home from shopping, my daughter asked if I wanted her to get my scanner.  I said, “yes”, to which she replied, “I knew it.  I’m your sidekick”.

Her dad asked her what she meant (he had a feeling she used the wrong word).

Sure enough, she starts stating, “I can read Mommy’s mind”.

I busted out laughing.  She couldn’t understand what I found so funny.  After all, “side kick” sounds very similar to “psychic”. She meant to say she was my psychic.
